hehehe! wery wery funny, and true! have recently played a small prank on one of my workmates... involved her mouse, and some tape... laughed myself nearly to death (on the inside) but she certainly didn't think to ask for help until was at end of her tether, and asked the know it all! who thought the tape was to keep the laser clean!!!! *wipes tear from eye* classic!

our helpdesk works in a locked office, and they will only open it in a dire emergency :)

I don't envy you working in IT! Here's another definition of an expert.

X is an Unknown variable
A spurt is water under pressure

Therefore, an X-Spurt is an Unknown drip under pressure.

(I know the spelling dosen't work but the definition does)

I'm shocked and appalled and, well, not overly surprised really :), numbers 10, 7, and 4 perhaps more so. Is number 4 a real let-down to realise? - that would be a bit of a shame.
